    Thank you! Legend!!

    1. I haven’t tried it, but I don’t think almond flour would work because it doesn’t absorb liquid as well as regular or brown rice flour.

  6. This gravy is awesome. I added about a teaspoon of Cumin and a 1/4 tsp of white pepper and it puts it over the top. I use it on so many more foods than just potatoes, sometimes I’ll just take a plate of vegetables and eat them with leftover gravy.

    1. Hi Wally. I agree that this gravy can be used in many ways! I’m so glad you love it! Thanks for sharing your positive feedback and review!

  13. This really is the best vegan gravy I have tried.   And so quick!  Normally it is such a chore.

  14. Awesome recipe – I added pepper flakes, garlic powder with a dash of black salt for a bit more depth 😉

  15. So good! So quick and easy and the  perfect thickness also. I even had to substitute some things (stock instead of vegetable broth, and 1tbs onion salt instead of 3/4 onion powder) and it worked out perfectly!

  16. Hi
This tastes so salty, what am I doing wrong? Everyone raving about the flavour / how would I reduce the saltiness – leave out the yeast  or tamari? I tried halving the Tamari , still the same.  I made it with cornflour for my celiac vegetarian daughter.

    1. Hi Jane. The gravy should taste salty but not overwhelmingly so. It’s probably coming from your vegetable broth or tamari. Try using half the tamari again and low sodium or no-salt-added broth. Hope this helps!

  17. Cannot beat vegetarian gravy recipe. So delicious my meat eating family raved and said this gravy is delicious. They couldn’t get over the flavor. So I finally told them the truth.

    1. Gravy is good on so many things! I’m glad you are loving it! Thank your sharing your fantastic feedback!
